Moormur + Stef Kett + High Pit
Sad House Daddy presents a night of electronic, explorative, psychedelic and experimental music at Servant Jazz Quarters featuring live sets from Moormur, Stef Kett and High Pit.
Moormur is a London based producer, beatmaker and self-taught drummer. Exploring rhythms and sounds from all over the world., his music is a collage of samples, field recordings and synths glued together with a naive attitude. Moormur takes inspiration from spiritual music, instrumental hip hop, African rumba, IDM, contemporary jazz and ambient music. Playing live he uses percussion and electronic pads to create performances infused with dynamics and grooves. Performing tonight with special guests.
London-based musician Stef Kett is the vocalist/guitarist from the acclaimed, inventive avant-rock trio Reciprocate. As a solo artist he has released six albums of predominantly instrumental guitar pieces (occasionally with vocals and percussion), the latest being this year’s ‘Snouts’.

High Pit was born in London early in 2019 from a collaboration between Amedeo (Eat the Rabbit and Do Nascimiento) and Simone (Rainbow Island and Trans Upper Egypt). Their music is a mixture of electronic, psychedelia and repetition of slow somehow melodic patterns. Most of their music is played live with no sampling involved, a blend of digital and analogic machines allows them to play their live set that every time in a different way.
