Italy’s No.1 alt.folk band ANGUS McOG return to the UK for the first time in five years to play a very special launch for their acclaimed third album Beginners.

Beginning in 2009 as the alter ego of Modena musician Antonio Tavoni, Angus McOg released their debut album Anorak in 2011, followed by the widely acclaimed Arnaut, which saw them making inroads for the first time into the UK and US, performing a live session on NTS Radio, before guesting with Thurston Moore on his Italian dates. Running a nice sideline in arthouse film scores, they’ve since been joined by multi-instrumentalist Luca Di Mira from award-winning post-rock pioneers Giardini di Mirò.

Special guest for this show is rising Essex estuary songsmith M.G. BOULTER, whose latest release Blood Moon is out now though Hudson Records.
