Barnacles are delighted to invite you to the launch party of their EP Softly Spoken!  Join Barnacles on their enchanting musical voyage, where the spirit of the 70s intertwines with the modern world, creating a distinctive blend of warm melodies, soulful harmonies and heartfelt lyrics.

Barnacles will be supported by the supremely talented AK Patterson, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in South East London. She writes gritty melancholic songs that challenge ideas around loneliness, death, violence, and unrequited love. Having grown up learning to play folk music in the back of an Irish pub, she is a master of story telling and mixes this with an art pop approach to experimental instrumentation. She’s toured with Mercury Prize winning band alt-J, was reviewed in the Guardian this year by Johnny Flynn and most recently been hailed by Guy Garvey on BBC Radio 6 music.
