Brudini & Lulu Gainsbourg

Brudini and Lulu Gainsbourg invite you to an intimate and special evening at the beautiful Servant Jazz Quarters in Dalston, London. Performing together, they will present a toned down set of songs from both Brudini’s forthcoming debut album as well as songs from Lulu’s most recent release. The set also features renowned UK jazz drummer Tim Giles.

Brudini is a London-based singer/songwriter/composer, with base in the creative community around literary venue the Society Club in Soho. The musical expression ranges from stripped songwriter to larger, more groovy, orchestrated landscapes. Lyrics darkly evoke existensialist and beat traditions. His first single, ‘Pale Gold’, received air time on French radio, and he has done numerous concerts in London and his native Norway over the last year.

Lulu Gainsbourg first entered the spotlight as a 2 year old when his father, Serge Gainsbourg brought him up on stage during a concert in Paris. Lulu showed a talent for music at a very young age, and studied as a pianist at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. His debut album, ‘From Gainsbourg to Lulu’, was a tribute album to his father and featured guests musicians including Iggy Pop, Scarlett Johansson, Johnny Depp and Rufus Wainwright. His second album, ‘Lady Luck’ (2015) was very well received in France.
