Charlotte Enegren + Clara Marie
Charlotte Enegren is a Swedish singer-songwriter born in Stockholm, but has lived most of her life abroad: in Brussels, London and Paris. Growing up with a passion for the blues, soulful voices, funk rhythms and pop melodies, Charlotte counts Erykah Badu, Joss Stone, Ella Fitzgerald, Madonna and Prince as her early musical influences. After completing a degree in Social Anthropology in London, she left academia to explore the Parisian jazz scene, basing herself in the French capital for a number of years to hone her skills as a singer and performer in various jazz and blues-rock bands. Moving back to London in 2015 to pursue a Masters in Popular Music at Goldsmiths; it was during this time that she wrote and produced her debut EP Mirror Lights, due for release in Spring 2018. Her music is a warm, heart-felt blend of soulful pop with jazz and blues undertones.
