A new project formed by percussionist Patrick Dawes (Groove Armada/Herbaliser/Woven Entity etc) and drummer Paul May (Woven Entity/Duke Garwood etc), Crystal Moth’s music fuses intricate, exotic downtempo grooves with immersive, otherworldly atmospherics and stretched songform. Other members include acclaimed singer/songwriter/improviser Charlie Beresford and pianist/composer Carolyn Hume. The missing link between Astral Weeks and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, maybe. This will be their first gig.
