Soundspecies is the alias of producer/musician/DJ brothers Henry and Oliver Keen. It is hard to pin them down to a genre; their eclectic discography of releases, built gradually over a span of nearly 15 years reflects their eclectic tastes and open minded approach. Soundspecies explore the territory between traditional rhythmic percussion music and electronic music with a healthy fascination for sonic experimentation with analogue synthesizers.

Their latest work with at Manana Festival in Cuba saw them collaborate with spiritual Rumba group Obbatuké which culminated in a momentous concert at the Barbican. Electric Jalaba with Moroccan gnawa master Simo Lagnawi was also one of their projects which highlights their love for all things psychedelic and ethnic
