Eli Gras + Obsidian Teeth

This a happy side of Eli Gras’s music world, a “one band girl” solo performance. Her sound has been defined as “Jeanette meets the Residents” with a certain Motor Combo spirit. Eli sings and plays sort of a lo-fi, weird and funny cabaret.

A multidisciplinary artist, Eli has published the solo works on experimental and dada-pop music “Museum of the Dry Bugs (Gagarin Rec.. DE), “Tasmanian Robinet” (L.O.E.Rec. ES),  “Grass Velvet” (Esc. Rec. ND), “Xylotheque”, Baranda as well as “Duplicat” (+ Pelayo Arrizabalaga), “Polo” and “El Avión” (Motor Combo) amongs other contributions at labels as Classwar Karaoke, Soft bodies, Ego Twister, Monster K7… She has walked a long path since early 80’s, from experimental to electropop, through Greek music, minimalism, choral, funk, electroacoustics, radio art…and special art-releases. She plays solo and have played with artists as Pierre Bastien, H.J. Roedelius, Pelayo Arrizabalaga, Adele Madau, Obmuz… having played in many venues and festivals.

Experimental luthier built/performs with sound and visual sets, also doing workshops and talks, in addition of her “one band girl” UnPop solo project. She’s the founder and director of the NoNoLogic Festival (2007) and the publishing label La Olla Expréss (2002).

Wojciech Rusin designs and makes 3D-printed reed instruments and draws inspiration from gnostic texts and early renaissance choral music. He released “The Funnel” LP for Akashic Records in April 2019.

His music was featured on BBC Four and he has worked for The National Theatre, The Southbank Centre and National Theatre Wales.

Rusin builds beautifully eccentric dreamscapes, audaciously blending courtly choir song, prim cello, occult mutterings and technological squawks” – The Wire
