Lima Limo Records return to SJQ to host their second series of events this year, kicking off with a headline performance from label founders Hejira. The band have been developing steam recently with their off-the-chain video release ‘I Don’t Belong To Anyone’, taken from their Lima Limo Ceremony EP released on vinyl earlier this year. Expect brand new songs as well as reimagined older material.

As is customary with these events the evening will begin with an unusual solo performance, this time from the highly unique talent of Tanya Wells who will bravely be performing solo voice for the first time. Tanya lived in India for over three years, attending school in the foothills of the Himalayas. She later returned to study Indian classical music (including light classical, thumri, bhajan and ghazal). Currently she is touring Europe as lead vocalist with her band Seven Eyes. Expect the unexpected from a singer who defies simple categorisation.
