Lima Limo Records host a series of eclectic events at SJQ this year, kicking off with a headline performance from label founders Hejira. The band will be releasing their latest EP ‘The Lima Limo Ceremony’ at the end of January, featuring the single ‘I Don’t Belong To Anyone’ which was ‘Track of the Day’ at Clash Magazine and ‘Track of the Week’ at the Guardian Guide who praised its ‘raw, jerky Afro-funk’. The evenings music will begin with a debut solo bass performance from Tom Herbert, a beautifully versatile musician perhaps best known for providing the melodic bottom end to bands such as The Invisible and Polar Bear.
