Helene Greenwood + Lee Endres + Shannon St. Clare
Helene Greenwood is a London based singer and composer. She was born in Dover with a view of the castle from her bedroom window. She started composing at the age of 10 and one of her earliest memories was playing along with thunderstorms.
Her latest album Exquisitely Hopeless journeys from the confines of the domestic world, singing from inside a crystal vase to gaze in wonder at the natural cosmic world. She visits a visionary psychic, Madame Marina, who lives in an empty house perched on the cliff edge.
The physical production of the album has taken place in a Richmond studio over the process of two years with James Hallawell as producer. To recreate Madame Marina’s dusty house she has played with analogue soundscapes, iPhone voice memos, a 1950’s Hammond organ, an Oberheim synth, and East German microphones. Influenced by distorted dream pop, the songs retrieve memories from the present and past before they disappear….

Lee Endres is a songwriter from Dudley. After a three month trip to Scotland and having found a quiet space buffeted by the Atlantic ocean to write and record; he is now releasing his debut album, ‘Croft’. The Scottish Highlands help provide context to ‘Croft’s’ milieu. From the outset, guided by the album’s organic and sparse instrumentation, we are introduced to the author’s psychogeography and hear plainly the guilt and fear that are universal in artists obsessed by their art.
Shannon St. Clare is a 19 year old singer-songwriter based in Brighton. Influenced by the likes of Kodaline, Bon Iver and Birdy, Shannon blends intimate and heartbreaking lyrics with euphoric and haunting melodies.
