2016 saw the release of Juliette’s anticipated third album “BUILD UP THE STRONG”, an album dedicated to her first love, Reggae music. Featuring performances with British Reggae legend MAXI PRIEST and the original rude boy of SKA, NEVILLE STAPLE (The Specials), with tracks produced by Mike Bennett (The Smiths/The Fall), JAZZWAD ( Damian Marley & Sean Paul) and ALAN GLASS (Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin).
Juliette has wowed crowds at the Isle of Wight Festival and SXSW, Texas, where she gave a knockout performance at Perez Hilton’s One Night In Austin Party. She was also handpicked to perform for Russell Simmons and Steve Rifkind’s label launch ADD52. A deal with VH1 saw her music Feature on primetime American TV shows Mob Wives, Single Ladies and Basketball Wives.
In 2015 Juliette released two very different albums. Urban influenced ‘OVER + OVER’ which featured many industry juggernauts including Da Brat, Mike Kalombo (SoSo Def), Graham Marsh (CeeLo), Wayne Beckford, Blac Elvis (Beyoncé, Usher), Alan Glass (Aretha Franklin, George Benson, Earth Wind and Fire), Hardwork & Mavelle (Damian Marley & Sean Paul). And “Bitter Sweet” an acoustic album a collection of heartfelt songs dedicated to her lifelong best friend Amy Winehouse.
The same year Juliette made a very important decision in assisting the directors with facts and events for the OSCAR and BAFTA award winning documentary ‘AMY’. Juliette was a prominent voice throughout the film, which was released in cinemas worldwide and is now the biggest selling British documentary of all time. Juliette describes the experience as one of the most traumatic and challenging experiences of her life.
