Leisure Tank is a new DIY indie rock power duo from London NW. Female singer/songwriter, guitarist K.C. and her mate Budi on drums have left Berlin, Germany, to form this vibrant rock band in 2014 after touring Europe as folk duo ‘K.C. McKanzie’ for 10 years.

Leisure Tank is raw, minimalistic, analogue rock with unpredictable song structures and heavy, danceable grooves. K.C.’s voice and poetical lyrics have been compared to the early PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi and Leslie Feist. The duo released their first EP ‘Isabella’ and the download single ‘Red Roses’ in 2015 accompanied with touring Germany, Switzerland and the UK. In October 2016 they will proudly release their debut album ‘WetSuit’ which has been partly recorded on Budi’s 8-track tape in Berlin and partly in London’s famous Space Eko East Recording Studio of Alex McGowan (Tiger Lillies, Son of Dave, Jah Wobble, …) who also mixed and mastered it. Except for one all songs are written by KC.

With support from ¡Ay Carmela!, a three piece queer DIY indie / punk band based in Uxbridge. Inspired by punk and 90s indie rock, they sing about dissatisfying jobs, social frustrations and relationships. Their first single ‘Dog Tired’ was released in December 2014, followed by a full length album ‘Working Weeks’ in July 2016.
