Kicking off proceedings will be multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Alex Reeve with his solo project Ideophone. Ideophone represents the meeting point of several musical paths: Alex is a member of the acclaimed UK alt-soul trio Hejira, as well as the co-founder of Lima Limo Records. He has collaborated with the likes of Floating Points, Sault, The Invisible, Cleo Sol, Tawiah and many more.

Loa is a collaboration between Rick Leigh and Genevieve Dawson, marking a new beginning in their long musical partnership. Both working and living in South-East London, they crossed paths with producer and pianist Sam Beste (aka The Vernon Spring), and with his guidance Loa slowly emerged. Through regular writing sessions, intimate shows to test new songs and an intentional recording process with Sam, the project has blossomed into something tender, original and soulful. Loa will be sharing their debut release later this year and will be in residence at Servant Jazz Quarters for three shows from February to June.
