We’re back on Sat 13th Jan for the first Mind Dance of 2024. Kicking off the new year in style, we’re buzzing to welcome Jedidiah Bailey-Smith & Kaspar Tosin to the SJQ basement. On the stage, Jedidiah Bailey-Smith brings his stellar live set to Bradbury St. An accomplished bass player, composer, producer and beat maker, Jedidiah leads the London-based band ABNA whose recent EP has been making waves in the capital’s jazz scene. Fresh out of Trinity Laban Conservatoire, the bassist’s solo set comprises a wide span of influences and sonics. We can’t wait for him to share it with you. On the decks, Kaspar Tosin will be in full effect. Currently London-based after most of his years spent in Berlin, Kaspar is a rhythm obsessive and syncopation fanatic. The Honest Jon’s staff member’s sets merge an eclectic mix of everything that moves, from spacious polyrhythmic dubs to drum machine-stripped rawness. Bring it!
