Plàsi was born on the island of Crete but mainly raised in Sweden with his mother where he moved by the age of four. After attending the music school Rytmus, he continued with studies in Stockholm, Milan, and Vienna where his songwriting ignited. His stage name is the Ancient Greek word for creation (πλάση), and two main sources of inspiration are Passenger and José González.
With stripped-back productions and meaningful lyrics, the Swedish-Greek singer-songwriter is an intimate act that stays close to the audience. Since he released his debut album in 2018, his music has spread internationally on streaming channels, followed by tours across Europe. His latest single ‘Mystery’ was released in May as the lead track on his upcoming EP, due to be released on Nettwerk this fall. His deep lyrics about humanity mixed with more personal stories are often surrounded by melancholic atmospheres and calming harmonies.
