This is London-based, half-German singer-songwriter Vanessa Anne Redd’s first solo headline show. She has previously released albums as part of electronic bands Rubicks and Six Years and will be playing some  “simple grunge-folk” from newly released October 7th debut solo album Behind the Wall. Inspired by the work of artists such as Syd Barrett, Holly Go-Lightly, Nico, Elliot Smith and Leonard Cohen, it is a ten song languorous record, sweet yet tough, sparkling with strings, droning guitars, piano, percussion and soothing, ebbing harmonies.
